Privacy policy

The short version. If you join the early list, we keep your email address so that we can write to you once, the day the first drop opens. If you press Accept on the cookie notice, we also load one measurement cookie from Meta. If you press Decline, nothing is loaded. That is the whole of it — there is no account, no shop, no payment and no profile.
Who is responsible
Paseo is a brand of Luca Carano, sole trader, VAT number IT04319711208, based in Bologna, Italy. We are the data controller for everything described here.

The early list
If you type your email address, tick the consent box and press Join, here is exactly what happens.

How to get off the list
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click is enough. You can also write to siestadogtv@gmail.com and ask us to remove you, and we will. We do not ask why and we do not try to talk you out of it.
What we will not do with it
We will not sell your email address, rent it, trade it or pass it to another company for their own marketing. We will not send you anything from brands that are not ours.
Cookies and measurement
The Meta pixel
If you press Accept on the notice at the bottom of the screen, this site loads the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram). It tells us how many people reached the site from our advertisements and how many of them joined the list, and it allows us to show our advertisements again to people who have already visited.
It does not load at all unless you accept. If you press Decline, or simply ignore the notice, no pixel and no Meta cookie is placed. Nothing on this site stops working as a result.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. acts as joint controller for part of this processing; what Meta does with the data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
Your answer to the notice
Whichever button you press, your answer is written into your own browser's local storage so that we do not ask you again on every visit. That record never leaves your device and never reaches us.
Changing your mind
To withdraw consent, clear this site's data in your browser settings — the notice will appear again on your next visit and you can answer differently. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser at any time, or manage what Meta shows you from your Facebook or Instagram advertising preferences.
Server logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare records standard technical information with each request: IP address, time, page requested, browser and operating system. It exists to deliver the site and to defend it from attacks, not to profile you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Details are in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Typefaces
The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address in the process. See the Google Privacy Policy. Legal basis: legitimate interest in presenting the site as designed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it erased, restrict or object to how we use it, withdraw a consent you have given, and receive your data in a portable format. In practice, for almost everyone, the data in question is one email address.
Write to siestadogtv@gmail.com and we will answer within a month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the authority where you live.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
When Paseo opens its shop this page will need to grow, because there will be orders, addresses and payments to describe. When that happens we will rewrite it and change the date at the top. We will not start collecting something new and leave this text as it is.
